The Best Windows Service Pack

I just installed Ubuntu Linux on a spare computer. It's the best Windows Service Pack yet. Ubuntu seems like the first distribution that has the potential to not be too technically oriented without being somewhat dumbed down like Linspire. First of all, because of big financial backing, you can download it easily from a fast server or get a CD sent to you. Attention was actually paid to its appearance as well. It's the best looking Linux out there. Installation is straightforward and attention was paid to not loading it down with too much junk, just a good selection of basics.

The biggest thing that Linux needs to pay attention to get better adoption is application installation. If a package is available for the distribution you are using, that's great. Otherwise you need to wrestle with tgz's, iso's, rpm's, deb's etc., and deciding where you want to place them. That's something mere mortals won't mess with.
